Jan SRAMEK was born in Prague in 1959. He graduated at the Prague Conservatory in viola as his main subject in 1980. In 1988 he left for Portugal. In Lisbon he was engaged as first viola player by the „ Nova Filarmonia Portuguesa ", and as a sound engineer of the orchestra, at the same time managing the viola master classes. On return to Prague he became a member of „ Suk Chamber Orchestra “ and „ Prague Chamber Orchesta without conductor “ . In the classes of prof. Mario Klemens (Prague Conservatory ) he learnt the principles of conducting and he improved on those under guidance of the conductor Albert Rosen. At present he conducts „ Musici de Praga “ , an orchestra with a long-term tradition giving regular performances in the „ Dvořák Hall “ in Rudolfinum as wel as in other renowned concert halls. Besides that, he is involved in recordings: CD of W.A.Mozart – Requiem and W.A.Mozart – Symphony in D-major KV 504 „ Prague“ + A.Dvořák - Czech Suite. In 1998 he became the chief conductor of the newly formed orchestra „SYRINX - Czech Chamber Philharmonie“whose members come mostly from the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra / CD A.Vivaldi – 6 Flute Concertos, Famous opern arias, A.Dvořák - Czech Suite + F.Mendelssohn - Symfonia No.4 „Italian”. 2001 – „The Prize Masterplayers Music and Conductors Competition“ Switzerland. Jan Sramek has given numerous radio, and television performances cooperating with both Czech and foreign orchestras. He has worked with a number of outstanding soloists such as G.Touvron, E.Urbanová, V.Hudeček, M.Höhenrieder, C.Lefèvre, Ž.Vokálková, L.Brabec, K.Englichová, J.Adamus, J.Boušková, M.Kejmar, and others.
Jan SRAMEK Seit Anfang seiner musikalischen Karriere zählt Jan Sramek zu den aubergewöhnlich Begabten. 1980 absolvierte er das Prager Konservatorium – Hauptfach Bratsche. 1990 reiste er nach Portugal ab. Dort wirkte er als Konzertmeister der Bratschengruppe und als Tonmeister des Orchesters „Nova Filarmonia Portuguesa“. Gleichzeitig leitete er die Bratsche – Meisterkurse. Nach seiner Rückkehr wurde er mitglied des „Suk Kammerorchesters“ und „Prager Kammerorchesters ohne Dirigenten“. Er studierte das Dirigieren auf dem Prager Konservatorium bei Prof. Mario Klemens und setzte fort bei Albert Rosen. Zur Zeit dirigiert er „Musici de Praga“, ein Orchester mit langjähriger Tradition. Mit diesem Orchester tritt er regelmäßig im Dvořáksaal des Prager Rudolfinum sowie im Ausland auf. 1998 wurde er zum Chefdirigenten des Orchesters „SYRINX Tschechische Kammerphilharmonie“, das sich aus Mitgliedern der Tschechischen Philharmonie zusammensetzt ( Vivaldi – 6 Konzerte für Flöte und Orchester op.10, Flöte – Žofie Vokálková; diese CD hat im Web Concert Hall Wettbewerb New York die Honorary Mention Preis gewonnen). 2001 – „The Prize Masterplayers Music and Conductors Competition“ Switzerland. Bei den Konzerten arbeitet er mit bedeutenden Solisten wie E. Urbanová, V. Hudeček, G. Touvron, M. Höhenrieder, C. Lefèvre, Ž. Vokálková, L. Brabec, K. Englichová, J. Adamus und anderen zusammen. Dank seiner Stilinterpretation, Tonfarbigkeit und emotionaler Kraft erntet er reichlich Presselob. |
